bio
I am a soon-to-be graduate of Gnomon School of VFX, Games and Animation. I grew up in Sunny Laguna Beach in California and thanks to having a Mother who found theater important, I knew by eighth grade that I wanted to go to Orange County School of the Arts for Musical Theater. After high school, I knew I wanted an education in language and writing, and still yet discover unlocked potential in creative arts. This led me to American University of Paris, France! I spent over two years living in France and studying fine arts, and really took to the figure drawing courses and digital editing classes the most.
Studying under fine artists, I began to develop and sharpen my skills in Graphic design, and took to photoshop quickly as a means to create digital art. After receiving my bachelors, I moved to Los Angeles to see what type of career I could shape for myself creatively, and began working as a specialized Portrait Photographer, learning what I could from Master Classes along the way.
This eventually led me to Gnomon, and after initially taking their Figurative Sculpting class and creating a portfolio, I eventually was accepted into their Digital Production Certificate Program, where I have embarked on a journey to find my voice in an feature animation pipeline.
As a child and an Adult, story-telling through animation have always made a huge impact on me, and my goal is let that be the baseline for any piece that I create. I have found such joy in developing the look of a character or scene, be it costume design, environment design or -my favorite- grooming! It is my hope to be a part of a team where I can add to the magic and help visually develop the types of stories that inspired me as a young child!
